OTC Tools has advised us that the OTC3696 Genisys™ is here to stay. A recent announcement touting the OTC3825 Pegisys™as the next best thing since sliced bread is true, yet representatives from OTC Tools state that they are unsure whether the Pegisys will be accepted with open arms. The OTC3696 Genisys has been the workhorse of onboard diagnostics for many years now but has seen its identity shrinking away in large part due to private labeling under so many part numbers that it is hardly recognized as it was when it first came out of the oven. OTC Tools has starship expectations for the new Pegisys OTC3825 yet it appears that they can’t come to terms with the fact that they are their own worst enemy when it comes to ruining a great recipe. Will the new Snap-On™ machine have more than one identity? Doubt it! As always we will be stocking the complete offering of mechanics tools from OTC Tools at Mechanics Tool Supply.
